Safety is
often one of the most important features a new SUV has to offer and both the
Nissan Rogue and Subaru Outback come standard with a number of the most
desirable features. The Nissan Rogue features Automatic Braking with Pedestrian
Detection, Intelligent Lane Intervention, and Blind Spot Detection standard and
is available with Rear Automatic Braking. But that is the extent of the safety
features that the Nissan Rogue has to offer. The Subaru Outback comes standard
with the highly award EyeSight Driver Assist Technology on every model.
EyeSight includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking, Lane Keep
Assist, and Sway Warning, and Pre-Collision Throttle Management. Other safety
features that the Outback has to offer includes Subaru STARLINK Safety &
Security with Automatic Collision Notification and Stolen Vehicle Recovery,
Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, High
Beam Assist, Reverse Automatic Braking, and LED Steering Responsive Headlights.
Features
Just when
you think that there couldn't be any more ways to love the Subaru Outback, the
list keeps on growing with a wide array of features. Like standard roof rails
with integrated crossbars that swing out when you need them and fold away when
not in use. Roof rails aren't offered on every Nissan Rogue trim level and you
will need to buy crossbars to attach cargo boxes or bike racks. The Subaru
Outback is also available with a heated steering wheel, a large touchscreen
multimedia display, and Harman Kardon premium audio system.
